Our guest cottage is bright, comfortable, and fully self-contained. It is an open, yet cosy space situated in the heart of our farm, with our sheds and market gardens on one side, and on the other an expanse of fields stretching down to Tarwin Lower and Venus Bay. Kangaroos can be regularly spotted bouncing through the bottom paddocks, and kookaburras are a permanent resident in our market gardens.

This is a busy working farm, however the cottage itself is a very private space despite the activities happening outside. As a working farm, you should be prepared for occasional noises, smells, mud, and other unavoidable factors that come with farming.

The farm is close to several towns and attractions that will definitely appeal to anyone visiting South Gippsland. We are 10 minutes from the nearest beach, 5 minutes from the conveniences of Tarwin Lower, 15 minutes from Meeniyan and Inverloch, an hour from Wilson's Prom. You won't have to travel far to get a great meal, a coffee, or a beautiful walk.

Staying with Kids

We welcome children and infants at our farm stay, but please be aware that there are no child locks on cabinets, and no screen around the log fire. When outside the cottage, children must be supervised at all times, as there are water troughs, electric fences, farm machinery, large animals, and sometimes snakes around. We have two young working dogs that are very good with kids.

For the safety of all guests (especially the young ones) the small back deck of the cottage is enclosed by a secure railing.

The Livestock

Our animals lead very content lives, and some of them are very friendly, however most of them are also quite large and strong, and can become protective when they have babies. Therefore, we ask that all guests admire our animals from a respectful distance – we will show you how to interact with them, and the friendly ones will come to you if they want a pat anyway!
